10 | 194 of 365; People Matter

July, time passes really quickly as you grow up.

When we were younger, we were always wishing for time to run twice or thrice as fast just so we could be "grown ups" and those "grown ups" always told us "Why would you want to grow up, it is good to be young"; and now I find myself repeating that to people younger than me, "Trust me, you don't want to know what it's like to be older." But as usual, you'll only truly understand what something feels like when you've been through it and by the time you are at the point where you are experiencing it, it's impossible to turn back time to go back and enjoy your younger days. So, sigh. I find myself sighing so much as July began because it means work has started too. I wouldn't air all my grievances about work here because honestly, I've complained enough that I'm tired of my own stories.

Horrible things aside, there are good that comes out from growing up and one things for sure, I learned how to appreciate the people that stayed by my side through growing up.

So July, you haven't been that bad yet, but I shall not challenge you to give me your worst. Just really grateful to the people in my life that made me smile, that made me laugh, it's just that presence, physically or through prayers that makes being alone not so lonely.

Thank you God for everyone, old and new.

#9 - This Week In Pictures

As time slowly ticks away, I find myself dreading the arrival of a new week.
There had been so many plans left untouched that I only have myself to blame.
Then again, I have never felt so unraveled and relax since school has started.
It's like all I want to do is to float away.
But I know I have to keep my feet on the ground.
And get through the rest of the school year and remember my final goal at the end.
This is truly a good learning experience for me.
After all it is a whole new chapter for me to fill up with all the different amazing stories, good or bad.
I learnt I no longer yearn for the sweetness but the bitterness too.
It's like I need to taste the bitterness to know that I am worth what I suffer.
And I will become a better person after all these.
But I know no matter what happens in life, through it all I have my family there for me and me here for them.
And of course the all awesome Creator of all.
He has been so ridiculous good in my life that everyday feels like a new blessing (:
