Spontaneous decisions are always the best. Things done when you don't put too much thoughts into it always comes out better. Why? I guess maybe because you don't have much expectations and much thoughts about what's to happen after making such a decision; or maybe you just drown them all out.

A good game of badminton followed but a cooling swim. Who knew one would gain so much from starting a day at 8am on a day off. It's true. It's not that we don't have enough time, we just don't make full use of it. Seeing how much we could achieve today before the noon sun hangs high above in the sky, I wish I could truly make full use of this Summer holidays and accomplish much more. The thought about going to work dreads me more than the flood of muscle aches that would arrive when I wake up tomorrow morning. But still, I'm grateful, for at least a day to enjoy things that makes me happy and to spend it with a friend that makes me happy. Hugs and kisses to Belle, for being willing to drag herself out to accompany me. I'm sure we could have done this before, we may have even attempted to; but putting too much thoughts into it prevented us from doing so. So I guess decisions made late at night are the best. When you don't think, and just do it. And the best time to exercise, is right after you wake up. Before your body realises what you are doing.

Finishing Pompeii by Robert Harris rounds up everything good about this day and honestly, I'm tempted to do this all over again. Every day, every week, every month. Nothing feels good like doing things that makes you happy. Till the next time.
