Taiwan in a nutshell!

feel bad for not blogging when i myself get mad at other bloggers when they don't blog and i can't read their interesting stories but anyway busy with holiday homework and christmas dance so no time T.T anyway feel that this year's December pass really quickly like in a flash it is already christmas week/3rd week of Dec and its like i haven't been doing much at all :O

being the guilty me for not blogging and letting time pass i shall make it up by posting nice pictures of Taiwan haha :D (i went to Taoyuan, Kaohsiung, Kenting, Tainan, Sun Moon Lake, CingJing Farm, Miaoli, Taipei wow so many places!) kinda lazy to blog about my trip cause it was for a week so there are really endless stuff to talk about plus i write a travel journal so its abit sian to recap on it here so yup i shall be selfish and lazy to just post pictures and do brief story telling xP

(All photos are raw without editing cause i want to show you all he nice scenery unless there are some pictures where its edited/taken from iPhone!) ENJOY! :D

Day 1 (Taoyuan- He Ping Old Street, Da Si Blooming Oasis, High Speed Rail Train to Kaohsiung; Liuhe Night Market)

meal on the plane at 2+am in the morning

He Ping Old Street

Da Si Blooming Oasis
many flowers were not in the season cause it was like Winter/Spring so not really pretty :(

High Speed Railway

Coffin bread
really delicious cause the bread was thick and cripsy at the side but soft in the middle with the creamy stuff that includes corn, mushroom and meat. quite popular in all night makets (:

Porridge
it was raining on our first night market trip so it kinda dampens the mood to try lots of food :( the first day was really tiring :/ but happy i got to meet my bestie Belle the next morning cause coincidentally we were staying in the same hotel! :D

Day 2 (Kaohsiung- Old government building; Kenting- Chu Huo Nature Fire, 4x4 jeep ride, Eluanbi Light House, Kenting Street)

outside Old Government building
inside was basically all the historical stuff which was quite boring just that we sort had fun with everything and use it as a prop in our pictures

at a place where we ate lunch, totally scenic and perfect for a outdoor photoshoot!

Chu Huo Nature Fire

4x4 jeep
it was AMAZING!!!!! :D just that it was raining and while we were on the beach the sand just keeps hitting into my face and its was really painful BUT the whole journey was exciting just like a rollar coaster!

Eluanbi Light House
SUPER windy!

bro ruin the photo >:/

Kenting Street
too busy eating to take photos xP

Panda Milk Tea cause the pearls were black and white! really nice(:

customize wallet!
scenery outside our hotel (in the morning)
at night it was really creepy cause our hotel was the only tall building so when the wind blow it was full strength and even though the windows and balcony door was closed me and my sis still could hear the eerie sound of the wind O.O

Day 3 (Kenting- Pearl Culture Centre, Old Taiwan Restaurant; Kaohsiung- E-Da Theme Park; Tainan- Ren Mei Night Market)

Pearl Culture Centre
this is where my parents got brainwashed into buying pearl powder which was like so ex @.@

Old Taiwan Restaurant!
really cool restaurant cause the whole concept is of old Taiwan hence it has mock up of all these shop houses and items from the past (:

on the streets of Taiwan

E-Da Theme park!

U-shaped rollar coaster
being a rollar coaster lover i obviously had to sit it. It starts of in the middle and goes all the way up (15 floors) vertically then it spins like below
and you are facing downwards and it rushes down to the other side and it rushes back down backwards and the thing repeats for about 2/3 times :) sounds scary? haha it was more of exciting and i like the thrill so it was acceptable for me plus the seats are really comfy so it kinda feels comfortable when you are falling backwards down. no, i am not a pervert that likes scaring myself. i just love rollar coasters sooooooooooo much xD

this is the other thrilling one.
it has 2 ends and just keep spinning in a circle while
the seats at both ends spins in a circle also x)
really fun! nice view at the top too haha!

and of cause the swinger (:

another mini rollar coaster where the seats keep spinning

taken while riding the rollar coaster my bro loves

bread store at Ren Mei Night Market

DAMN delicious chicken chop at the night market! this store was consider one of the more high end in the night market and the food tastes on par with Jack's Place. The owner is really friendly too, he thought we were Taiwanese and when we told him we were Singaporeans he gave us his card and told us to call him the next time we were here so he can bring us around. He kept saying how unfortunate that he didn't have his car with him or else he could bring us around.

papaya milk shake!!!

met my Nanyang friends at this hotel cause coincidentally they were staying here during their Chinese Cultural Learning trip (: we were quite noisy in the lobby (xP) cause it was really surprising to see them there

Day 4 (Nantou- Jiji Railway Station; Sun Moon Lake- cruise around; CingJing Farm- Green Green Grassland)

Jiji Railway Station!
the guide was asking why we all so excited when we are at railway stations then we told him cause the scenery at our mrts are really ugly

"yes, this is MY yatch" :P

couldn't resist it :P

the whole sun moon lake was like scenic times infinity
so it is really hard to show ALL of the nice pictures!

sheep food!

"Arghh go away i have no more food!!!"

time for meh meh to go home ^^

this was the nicest hotel room cause it was exceptionally cosy plus there is a sort of den at the bottom so we spent the night playing cards before we slept (:

the weather made the packet of chips expand :O

gorgeous morning view!

cause my sis says i look like the sheep =.=

Day 5 (Zhuo Lan- fruit picking; Miaoli- Rail Bento Set; Taipei- Ximenting)

more pretty morning photos! (:

fruit picking. quite boring cause it was freaking windy :O

bento set! look at the size of the chicken O.O

went out of the train and it was ^that windy

MTXX(:

didn't snap photos of Ximenting cause we were busy trying to chiong shopping into 1h -.- and we finally got to settle down in the hotel for more than a night. we have been switching hotels EVERY night till we reach Taipei.
maggie for supper!

Day 6 (Taipei- The Grand Hotel, Chiufen, Shihfen- heavenly lantern, Jing An Bridge, Taipei 101, Night shopping!)

watch the changing of guards. these poor dudes stand straight without moving at the entrance of the place for an hour :O and its part of their navy army

The Grand Hotel
doesn't look very grand to me

Taipei 101
with all the HDB and tall buildings i see around Singapore everyday, its not really amazing to see Taipei 101

Chiufen!
too busy eating to take photos!

Beef Noodle!!

heavenly lantern(:

i like how we let off the heavenly lantern while standing on the train tracks (:

Jing An old bridge

haha guess who we saw xD

Day 7 (Taipei- underground shopping malls!; Singapore- home ^^)

all the tour people!

ate this while waiting for the plane
